In the app
Open Benson, go to Profile → Account information → Close account, and confirm.
Without the app
Email support@meetbenson.com from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you sign in with. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.
What happens
- Benson sells the stocks it holds for you in your linked brokerage account. The proceeds stay in that account. Your brokerage account itself stays open with your broker; Benson disconnects from it.
- Your Benson profile, sign-in, preferences, picks, points and voice conversations are deleted.
- Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play are managed by Apple or Google: cancel them there so you aren't charged again.
- We keep records we are required to keep by law, such as purchase and transaction records, and remove the rest of your data from our systems and our service providers.
